Job Summary
- Conduct inspections of sheet metal components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Identify defects, document findings, and communicate issues to the production team.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and generate reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve quality processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
