Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operating of Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain controlled CNC machines. Working to fine tolerances (0,03mm) as per customers requirements Reading and interpreting of engineering drawings Take accurate measurements on Precision Measuring instruments and measure finished products according to customers drawings Adjusting of programs to suit material Guiding/Overseeing/teaching junior machinists and operators Preferred experience and qualifications: Matric or NQF equivalent qualification. A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and CNC Programming/Operations/Setting. CAD / CAM Software experience- Mastercam Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Good interpersonal and communication abilities Competent using measuring equipment Ability to work independently Ability to plan work on multiple machines to keep spindles turning
