Job Description

Minimum requirements: Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Legal Secretary in a Litigation department (High Court and Magistrates Court exposure essential) Strong working knowledge of court procedures, rules, and filing processes Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant legal software (e.g., Legal Suite / GhostPractice / AJS) Excellent typing speed and accuracy Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and support senior attorneys Key Responsibilities: Drafting, formatting, and preparing pleadings, notices, and correspondence Managing court filings, indexing, and pagination Handling dictaphone typing and document preparation Managing diaries, appointments, and deadlines Liaising with clients, counsel, and court personnel Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards at all times Consultant: Elaine Braysher – Dante Personnel Pretoria Faerie Glen
