Job Summary

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for the company, representing the group of companies professionally and ensuring smooth front-desk operations. This role includes managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, handling correspondence, and providing administrative support to various departments. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally. Take messages when necessary and relay them accurately. Assist with data entry, filing, document preparation, and other administrative tasks as required by different departments. Sort, distribute, and respond to incoming emails, letters, and deliveries. Manage outgoing mail and courier services. Schedule meeting rooms, ensuring that they are clean and ready for use. Monitor and order office supplies to maintain efficient operations. Ensure the reception area is neat, organized, and presentable at all times. Provide ad-hoc support to various departments, as and when required. Requirements: Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent; additional certifications in administration or customer service are advantageous. Minimum of 3 years` experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a multi company environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with switchboard systems and office equipment is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous telephone manner (English & Afrikaans) Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain efficiency in a dynamic work environment. Friendly, approachable, and able to work with a diverse group of people. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
