Job Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify Recruitment Needs: Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing requirements.
  • Drafting Job Descriptions: Create clear and detailed job descriptions tailored to technical positions.
  • Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to find suitable candidates.
  • Screening and Interviews: Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews with line managers.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Reference Checks: Perform thorough reference checks to validate candidate qualifications and experience.
  • Ensure compliance with employment and data protection related legal requirements.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Diploma in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology is essential, a Degree would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a HR role which includes the full recruitment life cycle.
  • Experience in the aviation and engineering sector will be advantageous.
  • Valid drivers’ license.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

    • Education: Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a recruitment role, preferably within the aviation or technical sectors.
    • Skills:
      • Strong understanding of recruitment processes.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
      • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
      • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Word)
      • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
      • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
