Location: Richard`s Bay

Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Supervisor to join their team in Richard`s Bay. The Gas Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of gas distribution systems in the area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas operations and maintenance, as well as leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.

– Supervise and coordinate the activities of gas technicians and other staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of gas distribution systems
– Inspect gas distribution systems and equipment regularly to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs
– Develop and implement plans and procedures to optimize gas system performance and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
– Monitor gas usage and supply levels to forecast demand and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate supply
– Investigate and respond to gas leaks, emergencies, and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner
– Maintain accurate records of gas system operations, maintenance activities, and safety inspections
– Train and provide guidance to staff on proper safety procedures, equipment operation, and emergency response protocols

– High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in gas operations preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas operations, maintenance, or a related field
– Strong knowledge of gas distribution systems, safety regulations, and industry best practices
– Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
– Valid driver`s license and clean driving record
