About the Role
Our client, a well-established global player in water and fluid management, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their team in Richards Bay. The role focuses on growing lifecycle services, rentals, maintenance, and technical solutions, requiring a strong technical sales background, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of driving customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers on-site to identify operational challenges and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions
- Build long-term partnerships with industrial, utility, and public sector clients
- Conduct site visits and conduct market development activities
- Provide technical expertise and lifecycle support to customers
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the water pump or pumping systems industry
- Proven technical sales experience in aftermarket, rental, service, or solutions-based environments
- Technical qualification, trade test, or strong hands-on pump knowledge
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills
