Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a B. Sc. Agric. or B. Agric. with Agronomy, and/ or Soil Science as major subjects SANSOR/BASOS/AVCASA accreditation will be of great advantage Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Agriculture A solid understanding, relevant experience, and knowledge of good agronomic practices are required Broad technical know-how of crops, products and farming practices is essential Basic trial design and agronomic crop production understanding is advantageous Fluency in Afrikaans (Read, Write, and Speak) Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel when required The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing and implementing product demonstrations in the field and region to support the overall sales and marketing strategy. Investigating, understanding, capturing, and communicating aspects of key crop production. Implementing regional business strategies and plans consistent with the overall marketing strategy. Implementing agreed demonstrations and in-field marketing trials and activities to influence and support sales. Recording and collating information and data to support product performance and assist Marketing with relevant data for the development of promotional material. Identifying key crops, products, market opportunities and threats. Developing the competence, motivation, and commitment of Dealers and Agents through effective training, promotion, and sales support aids. Keeping abreast of market, trade, and competitor activity to revise strategies according to changing requirements. Promoting and introducing products. Creating demand for the comprehensive range of seed. Establishing demo trials for field days. Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders. Gathering market intelligence and crop production information.
