AESTHETICIAN – confident performing LASER

ROODEPOORT – JHB, Gauteng (South Africa)

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm
• Saturday 09:00am – 14:00pm
• CLOSED Sundays
• 5.5 shifts per week + 1.5 off days per week

REPORTS TO: Owner

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R8,000 – R12,000 Basic Salary per month (negotiable based on desired skills & experience)
• 10% Service Commission (targeted)
• 10% Retail Commission (no targets)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
2. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology (2-year Diploma)
3. BONUS – Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
4. LASER (HR & SJ)
5. Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 2+ Years experience as a Skin Care Therapist (post-grad)
2. high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
3. Experience working with active ingredients and Diode LASER
4. Able to perform standard beauty & skin care services when operationally required (Waxing, Mani, Pedi & Massage)

SKILLS DESIRED:

• LASER Hair Removal
• LASER Skin Rejuvenation
• Skin Pen / Nano-needling / Derma Pen / Micro-needling
• Chemical Peels
• BONUS Skills: Dermaplaning / Lash Lift / Lash Curl / Lash Extensions / Brow Lamination

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
2. Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments
3. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
4. Confidently re-book clients to build rapport and maintain clientele
5. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
6. Driven and motivated to upskill by staying up to date with trends and products
