Hire Resolve’s client, a reputable company in Gauteng, is looking for a skilled and experienced Environmental Specialist to join their mining team.

????????????:

• B.Sc. Honours Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Registration with a recognized environmental body (advantageous)
• Recognised certification in Environmental law, Environmental Auditing, EIAs and Environmental Systems
• At least 8 to 10 years experience in a management position in a mining environment
• Proven track record in developing and implementing environmental strategies and policies.
• Extensive experience in conducting environmental audits, ensuring compliance with environmental laws
  and regulations.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing relationships with regulatory authorities.
• Experience with mine closure programmes, experience in ISO 14001 EMS and thorough knowledge of
  environmental legislation and experience in dealing with regulatory authorities
• Knowledge and understanding of Basic workplace Health and Safety principles is essential
• Excellent organizational, time management, analytical skills, written and verbal communication, project
  management skills.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between plant sites.
• Proven ability in managing EIAs, understanding the interaction and information between environment and AfriSam corporate strategy, ability to involve and coordinate internal resources and activities to deliver on requests, comprehensive knowledge of environmental science and being able to successfully integrate mining and the environment.
