About the Role
You will support the actuarial team through advanced data analysis and statistical reporting, while driving business intelligence across key areas. A strong focus of the role is understanding hospital tariffs, developing alternative reimbursement models, and analysing profitability and risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse hospital pricing and tariffs, with a focus on developing Alternative Reimbursement Models (ARM)
- Produce reports to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ARM structures
- Assess and track key risks relating to hospital event costs
- Deliver profitability analysis across medical schemes and contract types
- Provide meaningful insights to support business decision-making
Requirements
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
- AMASSA minimum – strong progress with actuarial exams
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the healthcare environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive and driven mindset
