Roodepoort: Systems Analyst – M365 and AWS- Contract

We are seeking a technically proficient Security Analyst with 2 to 3 years of experience, focused on securing systems, applications, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across on-premises servers, VMware, Cisco, Microsoft technologies, and cloud platforms including M365, AWS, and Azure. Responsibilities Monitor and secure on-premises and cloud-based systems and applications. Perform vulnerability assessments and system hardening across Windows Server, VMware, and Cisco environments. Implement and maintain security controls for Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure platforms. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure secure configurations and patch management. Investigate and respond to security incidents and system anomalies. Maintain documentation of security configurations, procedures, and incident reports. Assist in compliance and audit readiness for system and application security. Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies. Experience 23 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on systems and applications. Strong understanding of on-premises server environments and VMware virtualization. Experience with Cisco infrastructure and network security. Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and M365. Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms. Familiarity with endpoint protection, patching, and system monitoring tools. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and documentation abilities. Qualifications Matric and certifications such as Microsoft Security, AWS Security, Cisco Security, or CompTIA Security. Experience in enterprise IT environments. Exposure to ITIL and security framework
