Theyre now growing their team at a key facility based in Pretoria North. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on diesel-electric locomotives and related systems. Work will involve both workshop-based and field servicing, focusing on engines, brake systems, transmissions, and fuel systems. Youll also maintain service records, ensure compliance with rail safety standards, and be part of a team responsible for keeping critical rail operations running smoothly. Job Experience and Skills Required: Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic (accredited by MERSETA or similar) Minimum 5 years experience in rail or locomotives Strong diagnostic skills on diesel-electric systems, hydraulics, and brake systems Experience with locomotive engines (GE, GM, or similar) Familiarity with rail safety procedures and technical reporting Apply now!
