Job Summary
Maintenance Shift Leader required for a reputable automotive company based in Rosslyn
Key performance areas/ Skills required:
- Communication
- Problem solving
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
- Electrical, hydraulic and PLC fault finding
- Ability to read and understand pneumatic / hydraulic drawings
- Able to programme robotics and PLC
- Cross train subordinates and give support where and when required
Knowledge required:
- PLC programming (Siemens S5, S7, Festo, Omron)
- CNC (Indramat, Fidia, Fanuc))
- Robotics (Kuka, ABB, Motoman, Phillips, AEC)
- Industrial communications networks
- Fault finding and Press machinery repair
- Manufacturing processes
- Basic understanding of quality systems
- SCADA/HMI experience (Win CC, Wounderware Intouch, Xenon, Wincatext, Win Flex)
Minimum
Requirements:
- N6 / National Diploma with 5 – 10 years experience in automation/ instrumentation field within the automotive environment
- T3/S4 Diploma advantageous
- 5 years as a Technician in the electrical field, especially in automation (hydraulics and general maintenance / projects)
