About the Company:
Our client is an established granite manufacturing business in Rustenburg that specializes in producing headstones and kitchen countertops. The company sources raw granite, cuts it into slabs, and processes it into high-quality finished products. With approximately 30 employees — including both management and factory staff — the business is experiencing steady growth and offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate to grow within the company.
About the Role:
The owner is looking for an experienced and reliable Financial Manager who can take full responsibility for the company’s financial management while also acting as the right hand to the owner.
As the owner is often off-site, this person must be able to work independently, manage the staff effectively, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full financial management of the company (budgets, cash flow, monthly reporting, annual financial statements, etc.)
- Audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Debtors and creditors management
- Inventory control and cost management
- Staff supervision and management of approximately 30 employees
- Client and supplier communication
- Operational oversight in collaboration with the owner
- Implementation of efficient financial systems and internal controls
- Strategic planning and support for business growth initiatives
Requirements:
- BCom in Accounting or a related qualification (SAIPA/SAICA registration is advantageous)
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a financial management or senior accounting role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is beneficial
- Independent, reliable, and hands-on approach
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Must be willing to work on-site in Rustenburg
