Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Master Data Administration Officer to join their team in Rustenburg, North West. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation’s master data records, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all systems and databases.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain master data records in various databases and systems.
- Perform data cleansing and de-duplication activities to ensure data integrity.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users on data management best practices.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs.
- Stay current on industry best practices and trends in master data management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in master data management or data administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data management tools and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Certification in data management or a related field is a plus.
