Job Description
To purchase goods and services from suppliers by creating and releasing purchase orders, administrate order acknowledgements/confirmations and follow up and track deliveries. Ensure contract compliance with, and use of global/regional/country/local contracts.
Key Performance Areas
- Ensure supplier stakeholders comply with relevant regulatory requirements
- Collaborate and communicate with suppliers
- Provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
- Ensure supplier stakeholders comply with relevant regulatory requirements
- Provide effective advice to the wider organization on contract/agreement entitlements, obligations, and purchasing methods and quantities
- Identify and support the implementation of process and system enhancements to continuously improve contract management process
- Study/research best practice processes and benchmark the Company processes at regular intervals
- Assist in mitigating risk in terms of contractual exposure to the Company
Required
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain
- 5 years procurement experience
- Knowledge of the procurement procedures.
- Must have planning and analytical skills.
- Must have a driver’s license.
