Responsibilities:
- All functions associated with the role of Senior Safety Officer in the mining sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years` experience as a Senior Safety Officer in the mining sector.
- Extensive knowledge of health and safety practices in the mining industry including an appropriate tertiary qualification in OSH and MHSA, COMSOC and SAMTRAC.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Energetic, ambitious and committed to maintaining safety and compliance in the working environment.
