Job Description

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute effective regional sales strategies in alignment with the Regional Manager Analyse regional market trends and identify opportunities for business growth Monitor and manage overall regional sales performance Maintain and strengthen relationships with key mining clients. Demonstrate strong knowledge of mining plants, systems, and procurement processes Review client flow‑related applications or challenges and propose sustainable, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) driven solutions Conduct sales calls, technical demonstrations, presentations, and provide technical sales support Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure brand alignment and customer satisfaction Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the Regional Manager Represent the company at regional industry events, trade shows, and conferences Education Minimum Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and/or Science Mechanical or Instrumentation apprenticeship advantageous Technical qualification such as N6 or National Diploma (Mechanical Engineering Technician) advantageous Job Experience & Skills Required Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Technical Sales Specialist Strong existing sales experience with mining clients in the Rustenburg area Extensive experience with flow‑related equipment and/or instrumentation Experience within the valve industry will be beneficial Ability to assess technical applications and provide long‑term, value‑driven solutions Proven experience in handling sales calls, demonstrations, technical backup, and client presentations Strong CRM system knowledge and understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strategic thinker with a results‑driven approach High level of computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) Willingness to travel within the region as required Must reside in the Rustenburg area (within 3050 km of client sites) Apply Now!
