About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Safety Officer to join our team in Rustenburg. As a Mid Career professional with 4-6 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe working environment in our workshop. You will report to the Manager and be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify safety hazards

• Train employees on safety protocols and regulations

• Investigate accidents and incidents and report findings

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in the Steel & Manufacturing industry

• Relevant certifications such as NOSA, SAMTRAC, and OSHA (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
