Duties & Responsibilities: Meet with prospective clients (virtually via Zoom/Teams or in person at our offices). Follow an established onboarding process to bring on new clients. Advise existing and prospective clients on their investment portfolios. Advise clients on offshore investing. Assist clients with tax planning, estate planning and wills. Prepare and conduct investment reviews for clients. Continuously learn about markets, tax regulations and different investment vehicles. Handle client queries. Keep records of new and existing clients. Monitor FICA compliance. Key Competencies: Minimum 3 years working experience as a financial planner. Relevant degree in Finance (Bcom/BusSci/Hons preferable) Must have passed the RE5 regulatory exam. Applicants with the Certified Financial Planner CFP(R) qualification (or studying towards the qualification) will be preferred. Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have the ability to manage time effectively. Have an aptitude for continued learning.
