About the Role

We are seeking a highly Client Centric, self-managed and pro-active Customer Relationship Manager / Paraplanner to join our dynamic team in Century City, Cape Town. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing New Business cases for Private Wealth Managers, in line with compliance requirements. You will work closely with our clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete client onboarding process & FICA verification process
  • Generating provider quotes & risk and/or investment proposals
  • Case Management: Preparation of Sign-up documentation (internal documents, client advice records, provider paperwork)
  • Signed documentation to be uploaded to internal CRMs/Platforms
  • Implementing transactions for new and existing clients by interacting with the Private Wealth Manager and New Business Administrator and client
  • Ensuring all parties are kept up to date on events and transactions
  • Maintaining Good Record Keeping
  • Drafting and sending correspondence to client and external providers
  • Generating servicing transactions for clients: Switches/Fund Selections Risk servicing Changes to debit orders Withdrawals
  • Resolving adhoc client queries: Beneficiary amendments Static details changes
  • Ensuring that client files and transactions are fully compliant

Requirements

  • 3+ years para-planner experience (specific case preparation experience) or exposure to Record of Advice Wealth Management, or equivalent qualification / degree, short courses or diplomas (minimum 120 credits NQF5/6)
  • Matric Regulatory Exam 5 / stiving towards obtaining RE5 Certified Financial Planner
  • Financial Needs Analysis and industry compliance
  • Financial Services product knowledge
  • Experience in “Elite” – advantageous
  • Understanding of the financial planning process

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)

Salary & Benefits

R25 000 to R30 000 Basic Per Month plus Benefits (Negotiable based on qualification and years of relevant experience)
