Hire Resolve’s client in the mining industry is seeking a Senior HR Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company’s goals and objectives. As a member of the leadership team, the Senior HR Manager will work closely with business unit leaders to ensure that HR programs and initiatives support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with business unit leaders to develop HR programs and initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Lead recruitment and selection efforts to ensure the right people are in the right roles
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and resolution of conflicts
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and retention of top talent
  • Develop and deliver effective training and development programs for employees at all levels

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Ndip/BTech in Human Resource Management
  • 8 + years experience in an HR management role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant labour laws (BBBEE, BCEA, SDA, COIDA etc)
