About the Role

A leading luxury safari and travel brand is seeking an International Sales Manager to join their head office team in Johannesburg. This pivotal role requires a commercially astute and dynamic individual with proven success in high-end tourism sales. The successful candidate will drive international sales performance, build key global relationships, and ensure revenue growth across the group’s portfolio of luxury safari lodges, travel services, and destination management.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales performance across international markets, meeting and exceeding stretch revenue targets.
Lead strategic sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand goals and business plans.
Identify, penetrate, and grow target markets and client bases.
Analyse market trends to influence sales and pricing strategies.
Represent the brand at international trade shows, roadshows, and key partner events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value partners, agents, and clients worldwide.
Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure business.
Position the brand as a global leader in luxury safari and experiential travel.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years senior-level experience in luxury travel sales, with exposure to international markets.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
Strong understanding of the African safari and travel trade landscape.
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with gravitas to engage high-net-worth clients and global trade partners.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and multi-channel distribution.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Sales, or Business Management (optional)
