Job Summary

<p><strong>Experienced Hands-on Restaurant Manager required for an upmarket Restaurant in Sandton CBD</strong></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Hospitality Management diploma or certification</p></li><li><p>Proven experience or similar role, with at least 5 years in the food and beverage industry</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of restaurant operations and best practices</p></li><li><p>Excellent leadership and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks</p></li><li><p>Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and inventory control</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Pilot point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite</p></li><li><p>Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends</p></li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies</p></li><li><p>Train, motivate, and mentor staff to deliver outstanding service and maintain operational standards</p></li><li><p>Develop menu items in collaboration with the culinary team and analyze sales reports to identify trends</p></li><li><p>Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service</p></li><li><p>Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner</p></li><li><p>Monitor financial performance and take action to optimize profitability</p></li><li><p>Coordinate promotional activities and special events to attract new customers</p></li><li><p>Cultivate a positive and productive work environment</p></li></ul>
