Job Title Groups & Incentives Travel Specialist Establishment Type Luxury Tour Operator / Destination Management Company Location South Africa (Office-Based Role) Salary Package Market-related Live-out position Role Overview A leading luxury tour operator is seeking an experienced Groups & Incentives Travel Specialist to manage the full reservations and itinerary planning process for leisure and incentive groups. This role requires strong destination knowledge, excellent systems ability, and a high level of accuracy and creativity when designing group travel experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling bookings from initial quote through to final documentation, ensuring seamless coordination with agents, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Design creative and well-structured leisure and incentive group itineraries Qualify group requirements and manage budgets appropriately Manage the full reservations process from quote to final invoicing and travel documents Ensure response times meet standard operating procedures Proactively sell products and services to enhance guest experience Maintain clear and consistent communication with agents, guests, suppliers, and colleagues Uphold strong service standards and professional conduct at all times Attend site inspections or accompany groups when operationally required Minimum Requirements (Essential) Minimum 3 years’ experience handling touring or group travel bookings In-depth knowledge of Tourplan or similar reservations systems Strong geographical and product knowledge of Southern and East Africa , including South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, and Kenya Excellent written and spoken English communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously High level of computer literacy, including Word and Excel Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Advantageous Experience with additional destinations including Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Rwanda, Uganda, and Mozambique Previous experience within luxury travel or incentive travel markets Strong negotiation and supplier coordination skills TO APPLY Apply with your current CV (including a recent head & shoulders photograph) , along with your reference contacts , ASAP.
