About the Role
The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical assistance to mainly support customers with troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical and electronic system issues within the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric and electronic engineering and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose and resolve product or service-related problems.
- Conduct detailed analysis and root cause investigations to identify underlying technical issues.
- Provide timely updates and resolutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting manuals, and technical bulletins tailored for BESS products.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to electrical and electronic systems.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for customers or internal teams as required.
- Prepare accurate feedback reports to customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and resolve any escalations effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering (B Eng Electric and Electronic).
- Proven experience in technical support or related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and principles.
- 5 years working experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands on experience with Windows/ Linux/ Mac OS environments.
