Who You Are: An experienced underwriter with at least 1 year in personal and/or commercial short-term insurance. Skilled in processing policies, endorsements, amendments, and renewals. A confident communicator with excellent English (written and verbal). Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure. Your Responsibilities: Underwrite personal and commercial short-term insurance policies, including vehicles, buildings, assets, liability, and engineering. Assess and process new business applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Negotiate terms with insurers to secure favourable outcomes. Manage policy amendments, endorsements, and renewals on time. Maintain accurate client records and follow up on outstanding requirements. Provide efficient resolutions to underwriting queries while maintaining excellent service standards. What You Need: Minimum 1 year of experience in personal and/or commercial insurance underwriting (brokerage experience preferred). Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal abilities and a professional attitude. Ability to work independently and within a team. Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime if needed.
