Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently searching for an experienced SAP Manager to join their client’s team in Cape Town. In this role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of SAP systems to optimize business processes across the organisation. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that the SAP environment meets their functional requirements and contributes to the company’s overall success.
Responsibilities
- Attract, develop, and retain skilled SAP professionals across various functions including development and solution management.
- Manage team assignments to optimise performance and ensure a balanced workload for maximum output.
- Oversee the design and creation of solution roadmaps and system landscapes.
- Compile business cases for technology adoption and ensure alignment with organisational strategy.
- Advise business areas on effective SAP usage to achieve strategic objectives and enhance competitive advantage.
- Identify and implement improvements in business systems and operations.
- Manage the processing of incidents and service requests.
- Monitor SAP Early Watch and Enterprise Support reports, implementing recommendations to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead the development of SAP standards and processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements, including COBE, POPI, and ABC policies.
- Coordinate with IT team leaders on business projects and provide guidance in planning IT activities for SAP core systems, including upgrades and patches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP management or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP SD, or SAP FI
- Strong project management skills, including experience with methodologies like Agile or Waterfall
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- SAP certification is a plus
