Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client, a leading mining company in Mpumalanga, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Stakeholder Relations Co-Ordinator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
- Identify and assess key stakeholders and their interests, concerns, and expectations.
- Facilitate effective communication and engagement with stakeholders through various channels.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, consultations, and events.
- Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback and provide recommendations to the management team.
- Manage stakeholder databases and maintain accurate records of interactions and engagements.
- Monitor and report on stakeholder relations activities and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in stakeholder relations.
Requirements:
- BTech / National Diploma in Development Studies / Political Science
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in stakeholder relations or a similar role, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local community dynamics and social issues in the mining industry is desirable.
