Job Summary
Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment firm, is currently seeking a skilled Construction Site Foreman for a construction company in Cape Town. As a Construction Site Foreman, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing construction activities at the site. We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who can effectively coordinate and supervise the construction crew while ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities at the site
- Supervise and manage the construction crew, including subcontractors
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines
- Monitor progress, address issues, and ensure high-quality work
- Plan and allocate resources effectively
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety regulations
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Foreman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in using construction software/tools
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in construction management is a plus
