About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Trader to join our team at Helderberg Personnel in Somerset West. As a key member of our trading operations, you will be responsible for supporting senior traders with pricing analysis, market intelligence, and trade execution. You will also play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in buying and selling commodities
- Monitor market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and prices
- Support senior traders with pricing analysis, market intelligence, and trade execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and logistics teams.
- Prepare and analyze trading reports, sales contracts, and market forecasts.
- Assist with negotiating and executing contracts with suppliers and customers.
- Stay updated on global and local regulations affecting the protein industry.
