Job Description
A leading Wealth Management company is seeking an experienced Paraplanner with strong experience in financial planning processes, investment vehicles, and regulatory compliance to join their team in Somerset West. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to provide comprehensive support to high-net-worth clients and contribute to the automation of office processes. If you have a solid understanding of the financial industry and tax technical knowledge, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Support Head of Wealth and assistant.
- Manage 50 high-net-worth clients.
- Prepare client proposals and financial plans.
- Assist with analysis, estate plans, and risk quotes.
- Draft client advice records, annual reviews, and correspondence.
- Record meeting minutes and manage deliverable timelines.
- Execute client projects and address queries.
- Maintain records and assist with process automation.
- Train administrative staff.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Paraplanner, specifically with case preparation, or significant exposure to Records of Advice, Financial Needs Analysis, and industry compliance.
- Completion of Regulatory Exam 5.
- A BCom or equivalent qualification/degree.
- High-level financial industry and tax technical knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Afrikaans.
