Description:
Hire Resolve`s Client is currently looking for a Senior Exploration Geologist (1-Year FTC), to join their mining/consulting company based in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement exploration strategies aligned with company objectives.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute geological mapping, geochemical surveys, and drilling programs.

• Ensure compliance with South African mining regulations, environmental laws, and safety standards.

• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for exploration projects.

• Conduct fieldwork to identify and evaluate mineralized zones.

• Oversee core logging, sampling, and geotechnical assessments.

• Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to assess ore body potential

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• BSc Degree/BSc Hons Degree in Geology or equivalent
• Registered with SACNASP/GSSA
• Experience in Micromine, Leapfrog, Datamine, QGIS, MaxGeo
• 5 – 8 years` experience in mining/consulting
• Valid Driver`s License
