About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking a skilled Solar PV Engineer to join their team in Somerset West. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing commercial solar PV systems, with a strong focus on Grid-tied PV systems, SSEG processes in South Africa, NRS / SANS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept, detailed, and as-built designs for commercial solar PV systems
- Perform yield and performance modelling using tools such as HelioScope, PVsyst, or equivalent
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with project requirements
Requirements
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy
- Proven experience in commercial / industrial solar PV design
- Strong understanding of Grid-tied PV systems, SSEG processes in South Africa, NRS / SANS standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
