About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team in South Africa. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare basic financial reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts.
Handle petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
Assist with payroll processing as required.
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors regarding financial queries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial and personnel information.

Requirements

Well-spoken and professional
Strong data capturing skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar)
MS Office (Excel, Word)

Qualifications

Matric
Diploma or Degree will be an advantage, but is not a requirement
