Key Responsibilities Preparing monthly management accounts and performance reports Conducting detailed variance analysis and providing meaningful commentary Monitoring operational and financial performance across the business Delivering insights and recommendations to support decision-making Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnering Driving annual budgeting and forecasting processes Partnering with operational stakeholders to improve profitability and efficiency Supporting strategic planning initiatives through financial modelling and analysis Assisting leadership teams with business performance reviews Leveraging advanced Excel and reporting tools to improve efficiency Supporting the implementation of AI-driven finance initiatives Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement Assisting with the development of data-driven reporting capabilities Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes Assisting with financial controls and governance requirements Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information Supporting audit and compliance activities where required Job Experience and Skills Required CA(SA) qualified OR CIMA Minimum 1 year post-articles experience Strong management accounting and analytical capability Environmental, sustainability, waste management, or operational industry exposure advantageous Advanced Excel skills (non-negotiable) Experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting Strong systems aptitude and interest in technology Who We’re Looking For Commercially minded and operationally curious Passionate about using technology to improve finance Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills Adaptable and comfortable embracing change Strong communicator who can influence stakeholders Ambitious and eager to grow within a future-focused organisation Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset You’ll gain exposure to business strategy, operational decision-making, emerging technologies, and AI-driven finance transformation while working in an industry that is helping shape a more sustainable future.
