About the Role
Compassion Aid International is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing office administration, ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency, and supporting program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with USAID and Compassion Aid’s regulations and standards
- Coordinate with IT support to ensure the functionality of office technology and systems
- Manage logistics requirements for program activities
- Maintain a clean and safe office environment
- Support fleet management process
- Organize and manage meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including travel logistics, accommodations, and transportation
- Maintain lease and contract management database
- Ensure proper recording of shipments received
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in an administrative role
