About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at HotelJobs, where you will be responsible for assisting with the management of our 5-star restaurant in Camps Bay. As a guest-oriented career restaurateur, you will provide exceptional customer service, lead a high-performing team, and contribute to the success of our family dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant
- Ensure seamless execution of menu offerings and specials
- Supervise a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Conduct daily inventory and ordering of supplies
- Monitor sales trends and implement strategies to drive growth
Requirements
- Grade 12 Diploma in Hotel or Food & Beverage Management
- At least 4 years food and beverage service experience in a 4/5* Hotel Restaurant
- 2 years management or supervision experience
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Point of Sales System exposure to Micros
- Stock Management System exposure to Micros Control
- Highly presentable with solid English verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in hospitality language and terminology
Qualifications
- WSET Level 1 certification
