? Assistant Restaurant Manager Luxury Hotel & Spa | Camps Bay ? Location: Camps Bay ? Role Type: Full-time ? Package: R18,000 per month plus benefits, negotiable depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a luxury hotel and spa in Camps Bay. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills ; extensive food & beverage experience ; and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a 4/5-star environment. Key Responsibilities: Staff Management & Guest Service Manage restaurant staff to ensure top-quality service in the restaurant; in-room dining, minibar, and poolside Conduct daily checks of restaurant cleanliness, repair, and guest readiness Provide weekly on-the-job training to ensure service excellence Run daily team briefings prior to service, briefing staff on restaurant and guest requirements Ensure mise en place requirements are completed according to SOPs Manage operating equipment to ensure sufficient stock and minimal breakages Operations & Administration Oversee day-to-day operations of the Caf Grill Restaurant Track beverage stock movement and update systems accurately Complete end-of-service cash-ups and float management in line with SOPs Coordinate special requests and extraordinary tasks per SOP Monitor and report cover counts and average spend trends Report and follow up on maintenance concerns to ensure timely resolution Minimum Requirements: Diploma in Hotel or Food & Beverage Management Minimum 4 years experience in F&B service within a 4/5-star hotel restaurant or fine dining, including 2 years in a management or supervisory role Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Operator-level experience with a Point of Sale system (Micros advantageous) Experience with stock management systems (Micros Control advantageous) Highly presentable with excellent verbal and written English communication skills Fluent in hospitality language and terminology, particularly F&B vocabulary Understanding of restaurant financials and experience in service recovery Ability to work flexible hours ; including weekends and holidays Advantageous Qualifications & Experience: Exposure to Micros and Micros Control systems WSET Level 1 or Level 2 certification What Is On Offer: Competitive monthly salary R18;000 plus benefits ; negotiable depending on experience Opportunity to work in a prestigious luxury hotel and spa Hands-on role contributing to service excellence and operational efficiency within the Restaurant
