BEAUTY SPECIALIST: Body, Skin & Nail Technologies

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Monday Saturday
• 09:00am – 18:00pm
• Selected trading till 20:00pm in peak season or by client demand
• Sundays & Major Public Holidays – CLOSED
• 2x Saturdays off per month in Winter months (rotate)
• Flexi time

REPORT TO: Owner

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R7,500 – R10,000 per month (Based on desired skills)
• 10% Service Commission (tiered)
• 10% Retail Commission (tiered)
• Performance incentives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Internationally accredited qualification in Beauty Specialist / Skin Care Therapy / Cosmetology / Somatology or Dermal Aesthetics
2. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC or similar internationally accredited qualification
3. Confident all rounder in Skin Care and Body Care
4. Confident in delivering professional Skin Care services and offer relevant home care prescription
5. Excellent client rapport & retention abilities
6. Good health and fit for employment
7. BONUS – Nail Technology skilled (nail art, sculptures, full tips, etc.)
8. BONUS – Certified Lash Extensions

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 2+ years employment experience in salon or spa
2. Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
3. Cruise Ship experience is highly beneficial
4. Confident performing all standard SKIN CARE including Facials, Skin Analysis, Peel treatment, Home Care treatment plan
5. Body Care includes Massage Therapy experience, Waxing
6. Manicure & Pedicure + Nail Technology (BONUS)
7. Grooming – Lash Extensions
8. BONUS – Microneedling / Skin Pen / Derma Pen
