About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lodge and Operations Manager to join our 5-star, Big 5 Game Lodge in Pilanesberg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the lodge, leading a team, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. With a minimum of 5 years of lodge management experience, you will bring your operational expertise to drive the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage lodge operations and ensure seamless guest experiences
- Lead and motivate a remote-location team to achieve outstanding results
- Implement and manage lodge management systems (Nebula)
- Oversee financial & administrative management
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance
- Manage staff, including HR and performance management
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of lodge management experience
- First Aid training required
- Hotel experience advantageous but not essential
- Hands-on operational management style
- Proven experience managing remote-location teams
- Experience with lodge management systems (Nebula) advantageous
- RSA ID and valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Hospitality Degree/Diploma advantageous
- Completed a recognized hospitality qualification
