About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bond Secretary to join our team. As a key member of our conveyancing practice, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our bond transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team
- Manage bond transactions from start to finish
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement efficient systems for document management
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements
- Matric certificate is essential
- Tertiary qualification beneficial
- At least 8 years of experience in conveyancing
- Both transfer and bond experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent typing speed with exceptional accuracy
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and document formatting
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to confidentiality
