Camp Manager Luxury Tented Camp | Kruger National Park Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on the role of Camp Manager at a luxury tented camp in the Kruger National Park. This role is ideal for someone passionate about wildlife, conservation, and delivering world-class guest experiences in a remote, luxury safari environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to oversee camp operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a premium safari setting. Camp Manager Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in camp or lodge management Strong leadership, interpersonal, and crisis management skills Professional, mature, and excellent communicator Valid drivers licence with off-road driving proficiency First aid training and basic mechanical/electrical knowledge advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Office Knowledge of Kruger Park geography preferred Familiarity with South African tourism regulations and Acts Fluent in English; Shangaan or other African languages advantageous Guest-focused, adaptable, resilient, and composed under pressure Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness and presentation Self-disciplined, punctual, and respectful Passionate about wildlife, conservation, and cultural engagement Capable of working independently, taking initiative, and managing responsibilities effectively Camp Manager Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of daily camp operations in partnership with lodge management Ensure smooth coordination across departments to maintain exceptional service standards Manage logistics, maintenance, and hygiene protocols across camp facilities Deliver personalised, world-class hospitality to every guest Plan and coordinate daily activities, including game drives, bush walks, and special experiences Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally Support recruitment, training, and performance management of camp staff Foster a culture of excellence, respect, and continuous development Assist with budget preparation and cost control initiatives Maintain accurate inventory and financial reporting systems Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual stock takes Ensure adherence to SANParks regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements Promote eco-conscious practices and support community development initiatives Implement and enforce emergency procedures Maintain sanitation and food safety standards Provide regular operational and performance updates to senior management Analyse guest feedback and implement service improvements Introduce innovative ideas aligned with luxury safari hospitality standards Package: Salary: R13,000 R15,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience) Live-in accommodation Opportunity to lead a professional team in a luxury safari environment To Apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
