Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the area for service in the beverage outlet
- Welcome and interact with customers
- Take orders and serve drinks
- Interpret guests’ needs and translate them into beverage recommendations
- Prepare cocktails at a consistent standard
- Upsell products and meet targets
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Completed Barman/Cocktail Barman course from a recognised South African Educational Institution
- Hospitality Qualification
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role in an up-market environment
- Background in using technology, including micros/speed point machine, MS 365
