About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the area for service in the beverage outlet
  • Welcome and interact with customers
  • Take orders and serve drinks
  • Interpret guests’ needs and translate them into beverage recommendations
  • Prepare cocktails at a consistent standard
  • Upsell products and meet targets

Requirements

  • Matric Certificate
  • Completed Barman/Cocktail Barman course from a recognised South African Educational Institution
  • Hospitality Qualification
  • At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role in an up-market environment
  • Background in using technology, including micros/speed point machine, MS 365
