About the Role
Datafin, a Centurion-based organization in the Fast-Food Space, seeks a highly analytical and meticulous Chartered Accountant qualified as a CA(SA) with 3+ years post-articles experience. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in compliance with accounting standards and regulations and be proficient with Excel and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Performing variance analysis and prepare management reports.
- Benchmarking reports.
- Assisting with Audit preparations and liaising with external Auditors.
- Preparing VAT, PAYE, and tax reconciliations and submissions.
- Maintaining General Ledger accounts and ensuring reconciliations are accurate.
- Assisting in cost analysis, profitability tracking, and performance metrics.
- Driving cost saving/expense reduction.
- Contributing to process improvements and financial system efficiency.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure financial alignment.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant revenue services and financial regulations and standards.
Requirements
- CA(SA) 3+ years post-articles experience.
- Completed SAICA articles at a reputable Audit firm.
- Strong technical knowledge in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
