Chef Luxury Safari Camp | Eastern Cape Location: Eastern Cape Property Type: Luxury Safari Camp Salary: R12,000 Negotiable DOE | Live-In Schedule: 3 weeks on, 1 week off Job Purpose: The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for guests at a small but busy luxury safari lodge, ensuring exceptional culinary standards and efficient kitchen operations. Key Details: Live-in position with meals provided while on duty and opportunity to earn tips. Fixed-term contract for 36 months, with potential to become permanent. Responsible for all aspects of food preparation, menu execution, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly during peak service periods, supporting a small team. Assist with menu planning and contributing to creative culinary ideas suitable for the lodge environment. Maintain proper stock levels, storage, and control of ingredients and kitchen equipment. Comply with all health and safety regulations and lodge standards. Experience Required: Qualified Chef with experience working in small, high-paced hospitality environments. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to the unique requirements of a safari lodge.
