Job Summary: 
The ideal candidate should have experience in mould design, especially within a Toolroom environment, and demonstrate strong expertise in blow and injection moulding design.

Requirements: 

• Experience in mould design within a Toolroom environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of both blow moulding and injection moulding processes. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop moulds for the production of rigid plastic products.
• Oversee entire projects from initial concept through to industrialisation.
• Create components according to briefs and provide guidance on material selection and functionality.
• Oversee mould trials and furnish all necessary information to trial personnel.
• Engage in the sourcing of mould components.
• Work closely with toolmakers throughout all stages of mould manufacturing.
• Keep the mould/drawing database updated and well-maintained.
• Address and resolve component and mould issues.
• Lead various technical projects aimed at improving the toolroom and production processes.
• Take initiative or collaborate on projects.
