Job Description

Boutique luxury Safari Lodge located close to Bonnievale is looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Manager. This role is ideal for a creative; results-driven marketer who thrives on both strategy and execution. The Digital Marketing and Content Manager will take ownership of all online marketing activities ; develop campaigns that drive brand awareness and direct bookings ; and produce high-quality onsite content that tells a story authentically. Hybrid working offered (3 days remote, 12 days onsite weekly) (additional onsite presence during events or campaigns) Duties: Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives Manage paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and optimize campaigns for performance Maintain and update the website, ensuring SEO and conversion best practices Capture and produce photo and video content onsite (property, experiences, food and beverage) Manage all social media platforms and community engagement Create and distribute newsletters and CRM communications Track and report on analytics and ROI metrics Ensure brand consistency across all online touchpoints Collaborate with the operations, reservations, and F&B teams to align marketing initiatives Requirements: Qualification or certification in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media Minimum 3 years experience in digital marketing, ideally within hospitality or tourism Strong hands-on ability in content creation (photography, video, copywriting) Proficiency in SEO, Google Ads, and Meta advertising Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and CRM tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills Strong analytical and reporting ability Organized; self-motivated, and comfortable working in a hybrid setup Google Ads or Analytics certification Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva Previous experience with boutique hotels or tourism brands Local tourism or influencer network within the Western Cape Benefits: Flexible hybrid work structure Onsite accommodation and meals during content creation days if needed Incentive structure linked to direct booking growth and campaign performance
