About the Role

A well-known timber processing company with over 50 years of existence is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Supervisor to join their team in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. As a key member of the logistics department, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of timber to customers while overseeing warehouse operations and supervising a team of dispatch staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse and dispatch workforce
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, and delivery times
  • Facilitate accurate stock records, monthly stock counts, and address variances
  • Effectively oversee orders and invoicing to eliminate errors
  • Provide strong and effective communication across all levels
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics and warehouse environment
  • Timber warehousing experience will be advantageous
  • Computer Literacy, specifically All Microsoft Packages

Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics
